FOTD: Purple Haze

Here's a look that I created with my UD BOS Vol. II (click here for review). I've actually done quite a handful of looks with this AMAZING palette but it's either I didn't have time to take photos or the photos came out fugly because I was rushing. I'll still probably post some of the more decent ones just for the sake of showing you what I've been able to cook up with my BOS Vol. II.

For this particular look, I used all the colors in the first row --- Perversion, Gunmetal, Ecstasy and AC/DC --- and Sphynx. I also used a new concealer which I should reveal to you all in a week's time, give or take.

Here's a quick how-to: (All products used on the eyes are Urban Decay unless stated otherwise)

1. Prime your lids with an eyeshadow primer. I used ELF's Mineral Eyeshadow Primer (I love this more than and UDPPTFSI)

2. Apply a dark base to intensify the vibrancy of the eyeshadows and to give the eyeshadows a stickier base to adhere to. I used NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Black Bean. I applied it only on my lid and blended it with my fingers.
3. Pat Gunmetal all over the lid.
4. Apply AC/DC on the crease, blending it with Gunmetal.
5. Apply Ecstasy just above AC/DC. Blend.
6. Lightly dust Sphynx above Ecstasy.
7. Use a fluffy brush and apply Sphynx on your browbone.
8. Apply Perversion on the outer corner of the eyes. Blend.
9. Touch up the colors if needed.
10. Line your upper lashline with a glittery eye liner. I used NYX Candy Glitter Liner in Lavender.
11. Line your lower waterline with a white eye pencil.
12. Line your lower lashline with Oil Slick.
13. Smudge Oil Slick with Gunmetal and AC/DC.
14. Curl your lashes and apply mascara. I used L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes and L'Oreal Voluminous on my upper lashes and L'Oreal Clean Definition Telescopic Mascara.

Wasn't that quick after all.

Now an FOTD post will be incomplete without tons of photos, so enjoy. (I used my old Sony digicam for these)

Till my next post ladies! Thanks for showing some love.

Purple is one of my favorite colors. I think it's universally flattering, too. Thank you, Viva la Fashion.
