Just as I have mentioned in my post 3months ago, this is the first BB Cream that have I tried. I had been seeing this product on the Bare Naturals website for a while before I decided to order a sample size, which to my surprise, lasted me more than a month considering that a great amount of it spilled when I left it upside down in my stash.
I have to be honest, I was skeptical about trying a new product despite reading positive feedback on BB Creams and despite seeing and envying the flawless skin that Korean actresses possess (which a lot of them credit to using BB Cream). I was worried that my skin would react negatively to it and develop rashes and bumps on my face (this trauma I blame on one of Nivea's sunscreens). After mustering enough courage to try out the product, I sent Ms. Lami an SMS, informing her that I will include a 5ml sample of the product along with my order.
It took me awhile before I got to touch this BB Cream as I still had second thoughts about trying it even after having purchased just the sample. Then came the big day. I was worried and excited at the same time. I wore it to work that day and observed my skin the rest of the evening. No itch. No rash. Great. After one week of usage, I checked to see if I'd develop small bumps on my nose. Nada. Amazing! I gave myself one more week to see how the product would fare. When all I saw were amazing results, I thought, this is one good product!
I guess it's safe to say that after nearly four months of using this product on my face, I can confidently recommend this BB Cream to other people. Of course, you'd still have to take in some consideration when trying out the product as our skin's composition varies, and thus, reacts differently to every product. I suggest that you try using the sample first, and observe how your skin will be after two weeks of usage.
Below are photos showing how the product looks on my bare skin.
Applied on my face.
- The price. Selling at Php830 ($17), it's probably one of the cheapest BB creams out there
- It does not give me breakouts
- It does not irritate my sensitive skin (no rashes)
- Oil control is great
- The shade adjusts to my skin
- It does not leave a white cast on the skin
- It does not dry out my skin
- It does not look cakey
- Coverage is good. I still, however, need to use concealer for my under eye circles as they're really horribly dark
- Evens out skin tone
- I find it pretty economical to use coz you only need a pea-sized amount to cover your entire face
- It has SPF30, PA++
- It's easy to blend
- It claims to improve the condition of wrinkles (I have yet to prove this)
What I don't like about the product
- Nada
Final Verdict
For the price that I paid for it, it's a good product that I sure would recommend to other people.
Will I repurchase?
I really haven't thought about repurchasing this product coz there's a whole bunch of BB Creams out there to try. Besides, I still have two untouched BB Creams in my stash that I have yet to open and try.
