Vanessa. Miley. Hayden. All three starlets have made names for themselves. But who smiled their way to the red carpet? Let's take a look at each celeb's style.
It's no surprise seeing the Filipino-American High School Musical star in fun and flirty dresses; but there was nothing spectacular about what she wore to the Golden Globes. It was a wrong choice for the starlet. That boring nude colored garb only made her look older than she should and the long neck piece didn't help in any way. Oh, and that long jet black hair of hers worn in the same style every time was blah.
I'm a fan of neither Hannah Montana or Miley Cyrus, but I have to say that she looked dazzling in this simple tube dress and her golden brown wavy locks. It's nice seeing her trade her jeans and concert attires for this lovely ensemble.
Hayden's smokey eye make-up is indeed dramatic, but her too tight tube dress is disturbing. Was she able to breathe that night?
Well, after carefully criticizing each starlet, it's hands down for Miley Cyrus.
One down, two to go. The Golden Globes has just recently been concluded and people have their own lists of the best dressed celebrities of the night.
Awards shows are a haven for people who are on the look-out for the best and worst dressed celebrities, and best and worst coifs. And while the Oscars and the Academy Awards haven’t come around just yet, I’ll share with you my opinions on some celebrities who hit it right on the red carpet, as well as those that missed the mark.
Anne Hathaway's midnight blue gown embedded with swarovski crystals has got to be one of the night's best. Her classic up do and somewhat toned down make up made her look fabulous and glamorous. Obviously, Anne has upgraded her fashion style now that she has bagged her first nomination. One note however, her trademark crimson puckers are to be ignored.
Oh Eva! She looked flaming hot in a fire engine red strapless gown that accentuated her fabulous curves.
Olivia Wilde's flamingo inspired dress has got me torn between putting her in the
best dressed list or not. I must admit however, that she was a stunning doll on the red carpet.
Kate is probably one of the most glamorous women in Hollywood alongside Nicole Kidman. And even though her gowns can be somewhat predictable, I still cannot deny the fact that this woman, despite having a kid, still manages to keep a fit and curvaceous figure. She looked gorgeous and glamorous that night, thanks to her show stopping chandeliers.
While there's no denying that Eva Mendez is one hot Latina, the excess fabric hanging from her hips somewhat ruined the look and distracted my eyes from her beautiful face. Her turquoise neckpiece however, added some much needed color to her white frock.
Amy Adams' lovely full-skirted black garb failed to make her look glam for the Golden Globes thanks to her barely-there make up and messy coif.
J. Lo was as statuesque as the Golden Globe award itself, but I'm not so gaga over her revealing gold dress.
I don't know who January Jones is, but her eye-matching garb was perfect match.
Drew's frock was certainly hot, but her Marilyn Monroe inspired coif was not. Sure, she looked sweet as candy, but her messy do did resemble a bird's nest.
From goth to hot. That's Evan Rachel Wood. Her tiered black dress looked absolutely elegant on her.
Angie is a hit and miss on the red carpet. Well, at least for me. I love how her gowns stepped up a notch when she got together with Brad, but her look for the Golden Globes wasn't much of a statement.
Isla Fisher wore the best nude gown of the night. Simple but lovely.
Laura Linney looked regal in her pale mustard yellow dress adorned with a jewel encrusted belt on the waist. Her flowing hair also contributed to her winner look.
Megan Fox is foxxy, but her grandma-curtain-form-fitting garb at the Golden Globes was a nottie. Though I love that her hair was pulled back to add focus on her seemingly perfect facial features, I hate how her tattooes distract and ruin her style.
